The TVEC Motor Vehicle Technician Course is a nationally accredited vocational training programme under the NVQ framework, regulated by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission. This course prepares students for professional careers in the automobile repair and maintenance industry, covering engine servicing, vehicle diagnostics, and auto electrical systems for petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles.
With Sri Lanka’s growing vehicle fleet and the expansion of garages and service centres, qualified motor vehicle technicians are highly sought after. The NVQ certificate is nationally recognised and opens doors to employment in local workshops and overseas markets.
