Course Overview

The NAITA Construction Supervisor course at IETI Moratuwa is a 1½-year full-time NVQ Level 4 programme under the Sri Lanka–Germany collaboration. It equips students with practical and theoretical skills to supervise construction projects, prepare drawings, manage materials, and ensure quality standards on building and civil engineering sites.

Entry Requirements

Passed 6 subjects including Sinhala Language, Science and Mathematics at G.C.E. O/L with a Credit pass in Mathematics or Science, OR passed Engineering Technology or Science for Technology at G.C.E. A/L with at least one pass. Age limit: 16–35 years as at 30.06.2026.

Training System

The programme follows the Dual Training System — the first half consists of institutional training at IETI Moratuwa, while the second half involves On-the-Job Training at government or recognised private construction companies. Graduates receive both an IETI Full-Time Course Certificate and an NVQ Level 4 Certificate awarded by TVEC.
