Diploma in Digital Photography – Hegoda School of Photography

The Diploma in Digital Photography at the Hegoda School of Photography is a six-month weekend programme conducted by Sri Lanka’s renowned photography educator Mr. Lal Hegoda. It is one of the most respected photography diplomas in the country, combining hands-on practical training with comprehensive theoretical knowledge across all major areas of digital photography. Every student receives a free copy of the book “Digital Photography” written by Mr. Lal Hegoda — a valuable learning resource that complements the classroom sessions.

The course is conducted on weekends making it highly convenient for working professionals, students, and anyone with a passion for photography who cannot commit to full-time study. With multiple intake dates throughout the year for both Saturday and Sunday batches, students can join at the time that best suits them.
