The TVEC Carpentry Course is a nationally recognised vocational qualification under the NVQ framework, regulated by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka. This programme trains students in woodworking, furniture making, formwork construction, and structural carpentry — skills that are in high demand in both the local construction industry and overseas markets.
The competency-based training covers both hand tools and power tools, ensuring graduates are job-ready from day one. The NVQ certificate is accepted by employers in Sri Lanka, the Middle East, and other international labour markets.
