NAITA Electrician Course 2026 – NVQ Level 4 | Free Vocational Training Sri Lanka

The NAITA Electrician Course is a one-year, government-certified vocational training programme under the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4 framework. Offered through NAITA’s island-wide network of training centres, this course equips trainees with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to work as a qualified electrician in the construction, industrial, and domestic sectors — both in Sri Lanka and overseas.

The programme follows NAITA’s Dual Training System: the first half of training is conducted at a NAITA centre, while the second half involves On-the-Job Training (OJT) at an approved government or private organisation, ensuring real workplace experience before graduation.

What You Will Learn

• Electrical wiring, installation, and maintenance of domestic and industrial systems
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and blueprints
• Safety regulations and electrical safety practices
• Installation and maintenance of distribution boards, switchgear, and control panels
• Fault finding, testing, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

Training Structure
