Sabaragamuwa University Aptitude Test 2026 – BSc Sport Sciences & Physical Education Admission

Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka has invited applications for the Practical Aptitude Test for admission to its BSc (Hons) in Sport Sciences & Management and BSc (Hons) in Physical Education degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year, based on GCE A/L 2025 results.

Minimum Eligibility

• Must have sat for the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination 2025
• Must have obtained at least S (Simple) passes in any three subjects

Aptitude Test Structure

Practical Test – 60% of Total Marks

Candidates will be assessed on the following physical fitness and performance tests:

• 35m Sprint
• 5 × 10m Shuttle Run
• 1000m Aerobic Run
• Standing Broad Jump
• Push-ups (same format for both male and female candidates)
• Sit and Reach Test

⚠️ All candidates must produce a valid medical certificate issued by a licensed medical practitioner before participating in the practical test.

Sports Achievements Evaluation – 40% of Total Marks

The remaining marks are awarded based on the candidate’s documented achievements in sports at:

• International Level
• National Level
• Provincial Level
• School Level
