About the Course

The NAITA Beauty Culture Course is one of the most searched vocational programmes among young women in Sri Lanka. Conducted at NAITA district offices islandwide, this NVQ Level 4 programme develops professional beauty therapy skills aligned with national competency standards, opening pathways for both local and international careers in beauty, wellness, and hospitality.

• Hairdressing and hair colouring techniques
• Manicure, pedicure and nail art
• Bridal makeup and dressing
• Body massage and wellness treatments
• Salon management and client service

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have passed G.C.E. O/L and be between 16–35 years of age. Walk-in interviews are conducted at NAITA district offices.

Career Opportunities

Graduates can pursue careers as professional beauticians, bridal makeup artists, salon managers, freelance beauty therapists, and beauty instructors. Starting salaries range from LKR 30,000–60,000 per month locally, rising to LKR 120,000+ with experience. International opportunities exist in the Middle East, Malaysia, and beyond.
