About the Course
The NAITA Caregiver Course is one of the most popular and widely available vocational training programmes in Sri Lanka. Conducted at district-level NAITA offices across the country, this 6-month programme trains candidates in professional caregiving skills with practical on-the-job training (OJT) at government hospitals. The course is essentially free of charge, making it highly accessible to youth island-wide.
