About the Course

The NAITA Electronics Craftsman (Special) Course at the Industrial Engineering Training Institute (IETI) Moratuwa is one of Sri Lanka’s most sought-after technical training programmes. Conducted under the Sri Lanka–Germany collaboration, this 3-year full-time apprenticeship prepares students for local and international employment in electronics, automation, and industrial control systems.

Entry Requirements

Passed 6 subjects including Sinhala Language, Science, and Mathematics at G.C.E. O/L with a Credit pass in Mathematics or Science — OR — passed Engineering Technology or Science for Technology at G.C.E. A/L with at least one pass.

• ✅ National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4 Certificate – awarded by TVEC

Career Opportunities

Graduates are eligible for employment both locally and internationally, with recognised pathways to Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, and Romania. Career roles include Electronics Technician, PLC Programmer, Electrical Installer, and Solar System Technician.
